In Pain~ March 30, 2010

I was admitted to Fatimah Hospital in Ipoh few days back and the whole process SUCKS~

I went for gastroscopy and colonoscopy and it pain like hell
dad:” dun worry..they will give u anesthetic and u feel ntg when the catheter enter ur throat”

I believe in that till ….. during the scope..

The anesthetic that the nurse gave is not enough to make me feel ntg…
so i did the scope with full conscious and wide awake …

I MEANT BOTH THE SCOPES..

i kept vomiting during gastroscopy and all my liquid from my stomach were all drooling on the bed…

i heard the doc said..” she still very awake..gave her another dose..”
(not sure whether i heard this for another thing anot)

but..the nurse gave me another dose and before the anesthetic got to work…

the doc already doing my 2nd scope…

i was like screaming like hell and crying at the same time….

nvr wanna do the scope ever again!!!

The Tale of a White Swan.. March 25, 2010

Despite on what had happened to me…

MT decided to help me… by…

changing me into a WHITE SWAN!!!(i can ensure that..she really said that)

everyday train me..exercises..philosophies of health and keep fit..

she also included the training of my inner self~=.=

and even show it to Alex..

she was so eager to show it to him till..

she was so ready to sing it out to Alex!

She even rewrite the lyric our numerous times to ensure its correct and right to her rhythm..=.=

its just the lyric and yet she so rajin!!

back to clinic~i sleep like..almost everytime my head touches the bed!!

i don’t know why this few days..i keep sleeping and restless..

my eye’s bag all coming out!!and i looked PALE!!

i feel weird feelings..and its hurts and at the same time,it make my smile fades~ i hope that i can do something about it and stop thinking impossibility

At Work.. March 23, 2010

currently..I’m at clinic..during break….

we started to get use to the surrounding and the X-ray room became our 1st class hotel
because we sleep,eat our lunch and hang out there during break..

As for today,we hang out outside the treatment room because…
1..doc is taking his usual nap in the treatment room
2.one of the staff is resting in the X-ray room because she’s pregnant~
so we end up resting out here..but…COOL!!! we on the air- cond just for both of us and we’re reading gossip magazines and blogging here..

Usually..other then writing here..I most probably ending up sleeping on the chair like a pig.
But today I’ve already sleep at the patient’s bed at 9am to 11am~
(@.@)

Its lucky that today have not much patients and all of us able to rest because yesterday,
there’s countless amount of patient..
and we ate our lunch in hurry and have not much time to rest…

~IFT…Interferential Current treatment~

2 medium of current with interfere each other in the middle and gives varies effect~

the IFT here doesn’t use cup electrode but instead used pad electrode..so its quite MANUAL here compare to kl where most of the clinic uses the cupped electrode..

According to madam,(CI) our cupped electrode sudah rosak~hahahah

so we have to use wet sponge case where the pad electrode are then inserted into the case~
Both of us have taught by Aunty Rebecca  how to use it and by now~we kinda used to it already~

most of the IFT’s pict we din get to snap because we are too busy working on other patient..

when MT got IFT and I will be running around with US or traction…
We have no time to snap picts for IFT..lol

and ofcourse..

we will will apply the hot pack to release pain and to increase blood circulation..

*a strap is use to secure the hotpack in place so that it wont drop..

TENS..(Transcutaneos Electrical Nerve Stimulation)

commonly used for pain relieve and used as analgesic~

i use TENS because my shoulder are painful like hell and we normally use the appliances at our last hour before we head home to hostel to relax ourselves and we ENJOY IT~

*Aunty Rebecca invited us at the first place to use the appliances and we learn about it as we use it ourselves..
*we have to feel the differences between each appliances so that we can explain to the patient when we treat them with the appliances..(^^)

When we reached hostel~..

we cooked claypot chicken rice with RICE COOKER~
haha..
the ingredients are

1. chicken drumstick 2 ketul..
(as in the drumstick plus the upper thigh!!damn huge)

2.soy sauce
(i dunno how much..follow ur instincs~hahah)

3.a pinch of kidnapped salt~..
(i curi guna the malay’s salt(><))

4.abit of kidnapped oil!(><)

den stir stir stir stir it until u see ok ok..den..cover it and let it cook~

*i seem happy with the chicken..(=.=)!!!

*pour the kidnapped oil into the pot~

*raw chicky in the pot~

*when the chicky boils..put in ur rice~

*nvr waste

*almost cook~!!

*adding extra power to make it cook faster~

Let’s The Journey Begin.. March 21, 2010

Its a new start for me after many event happened on me and i feel like i wanted to express it out and i just wanna start back this blog..i’ve deleted all old posts and trying to forget everything that happened to me and move on with my life~

Its Semester 6..the beginning of my posting years and I’m being posted to Ipoh, Perak..

I’ve learned lots of things and conditions out there as i progress with my posting..so far for my 1st week of posting at Enjer Orthopedic and Physiotherapy clinic at Fair Park, I’ve learned alot and trying my best to provide patients my service and gain lots of knowledge from Aunty Rebecca who taught us varies treatment methods and how to communicate to the patients..

Mei Tee posted to the same clinic with me and both of us trying our very best to help Aunty Rebecca and at the same time,collect information for our final presentation which held at the end of the Semester as our Finals…we snaps picts and record almost everything down for our reference during our presentation..:P

and usually after US we apply Hot Pack to the treatment site to allow relaxation and increase the blood circulation..

*1st..microwave the hotpack for 4 minutes and put on the treatment site..

*2nd..cover the hot pack with cloths to maintain its temperature…

*ofcourse we use..BATIK SARUNG~..=.=!!

then AR(Aunty Rebecca) taught us on IFT and Traction Machines~(Neck and Lumbar)….

After having neck traction, we hav Lumbar Traction which i refused to do due to my back problem but i need to be the patient to let MT to wrap me up~(~.~)
